As airlines fold and alter schedules, local fliers fume. It's a sign of the times, and there is little that any one airline can do to make a difference right now. With fuel costs sky rocketing and other issues facing the airlines, there will be huge numbers of people let go, and that will lead to less service and less availability for everything pertaining to air travel. Don't blame the airlines! Blame our government for allowing this to happen while they sit back and say there's nothing they can do to change it! Hog wash!
- Unreliability has become the industry standard for travelers after another week of canceled flights and more bankruptcies. Fuel charges are impacting the airlines too, so it isn't going to be a good summer for flying! This is an understatement! Hang on folks, there's lots more changes coming! Travelers won't be happy, but remember not to be angry with the airlines or their staff. They are dealing with it all the best way they can, just like the traveling public.
